How to use QUICKticket
Buying your train journey tickets has never been easier or quicker thanks to new QUICKticket self-service ticket vending machines at southern stations.
QUICKticket machines offer a wide variety of ticket types to any destination on the national rail network.
Simply read and follow messages on the screens to guide you through your purchase options, and don’t worry, if you are unsure of what to do ask our staff for assistance or contact southern customer services.
You can use cash, credit or debit cards to buy daily or weekly tickets using the touch screen graphics. Next day tickets may be purchased if requested from the welcome screen after 16:00 hours and soon you will also be able to purchase monthly season tickets via the QUICKticket machines.
Tickets that have been purchased online can also be collected from the QUICKticket machine. Select the ‘Collect’ touch screen graphic and insert your credit/debit card then follow the on-screen instructions. For further details look at the website’s terms and conditions.
Chip and pin purchasing technology is now very widely and successfully used within the railway industry on self service machines. For your protection and to keep your personal details secure all information is encrypted with the same type of technology as used by the banking industry.
