DaySave Terms and Conditions

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Tickets will only be sold to customers booking at least 7 days before the date of travel (14 days during some seasonal holiday periods, bank holidays, and other busy periods).
  • Tickets will be posted to the customer's address as entered and verified by this site.
  • If TOD is chosen as a delivery option, please note that tickets can only be collected from Southern stations
  • Only one ticket is issued for each group booking. Group members must travel together at all times.
  • DaySave tickets are only valid on trains operated by Southern. Not valid on Gatwick Express. You cannot use the services of any other train operator, or London Underground, with this ticket.
  • Child fares are only available to accompanied children under the age of 16. No more than four children may accompany each adult or group at the child fare.
  • Southern DaySave is not available for sale at any station or on trains. DaySave must be purchased before travel.
  • This offer cannot be combined with other discounts e.g. Railcards.
  • DaySave can be used as follows:
    - Anytime on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
    - Not before 10:00 Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays)
    - Not between 16:15 and 19:15 Monday to Friday when boarding trains from East Croydon, London stations (Victoria, London Bridge and Clapham Junction)
  • All correspondence in relation to tickets sold on this site is via Customer Services.
  • Please confirm train times with National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50* (24hrs, calls may be recorded, local call rate applies) before travelling, particularly at weekends. Leave plenty of time for your journey especially if travelling to Gatwick Airport.
  • Southern accepts no liability for any expense incurred as a consequence of their failure to provide the advertised train service.
  • Southern reserves the right to change or withdraw this offer at any time up to the issue of rail tickets.
  • Customers have the option of selecting recorded delivery for a payment of £1 per order. After selecting this option, if your ticket does not arrive within seven days please contact us for a replacement. If this is not selected we will not refund or replace any tickets lost in the post.
  • When booking your ticket, please ensure you check to make sure a convenient train operates on the day of travel.
  • Southern reserves the right to refuse ticket sales.
  • Southern can contact you once after purchasing a ticket to offer you the opportunity to opt in to Company and Southern Marketing information.
