Terms and conditions

1. Changes to e-ticket after purchase:
   - Ticket can not be refunded or exchanged.
   - If the ticket is lost before travel this cannot be reprinted or refunded.
   - The ticket is only valid with identification of the person that was used to purchase the ticket.
   - The main ticket holder (person who purchased the ticket) can not be changed once the ticket is purchased.
   - The date of travel once chosen can not be changed once purchased.
   
2. At least one member of the party must be 16 years of age or over.
   
3. Downlander is an eTicket which is only valid on train services provided by Southern and bus services provided by Brighton and Hove, Cuckmere, Eastbourne and Rider.
   
   Bus travel is unlimited for the day of travel on the following routes:
   - Brighton and Hove Buses: 12, 12A, 13, 14, 14A, 14B and 14C (which operate along the coast) and on the 28 and 29 between Brighton, Lewes, Ringmer and Uckfield.
   - Cuckmere Buses: Valid on all the Cuckmere Valley Ramblerbus and Michelham and Middle Farm Rambler services on Saturday and Sunday.
   - Eastbourne Buses: Valid on all bus services.
   - Rider Bus Routes: 118, 119 & 120 Seaford Town Services (operated by Renown Coaches)
   123: Peacehaven - Newhaven - Kingston - Lewes (operated by Renown Coaches)
   125: Lewes - Beddingham - Glynde - Firle - Selmeston - Berwick - Alfriston (operated by Countryliner)
   126: Seaford - Alfriston - Polegate - Eastbourne (operated by Renown Coaches)
   143: Eastbourne - Hailsham - Ringmer - Lewes (operated by Renown Coaches)
   145: Newhaven Town Service (operated by Renown Coaches)
   
   Train travel on Southern:
   - South Coast Downlander: valid for unlimited, off-peak travel on all Southern services between stations south of Horsham and Haywards Heath through to Southampton and Ashford International. For more details see the map at southernrailwaytickets.com/downlander
   - All Network Downlander: valid for unlimited, off-peak travel on all Southern services. For details of where our services go, see the Southern Network Map at southernrailway.com/
   
4. Travel is restricted to Off-Peak train services:
   - South Coast Downlander is valid from 09:30 weekdays and at any time over the weekend and on bank holidays.
   - All Network Downlander is valid after 10:00 weekdays and at any time over the weekend and on bank holidays.
   - From 19th May 2013: All Network Downlander tickets are not valid for travel between 16:15 and 19:15 Monday to Friday when boarding trains from East Croydon and London stations (London Victoria, London Bridge and Clapham Junction).
   
5. Not valid on Gatwick Express services between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria.
   
6. The conditions of carriage for each operator will apply when travelling on the services of that operator.
   - For Southern these are the National Conditions of Carriage which can be found at southernrailway.com/
   - For Brighton and Hove Buses their conditions of carriage are available on request by writing to 43 Conway Street, Hove, BN3 3LT.
